Arrived just after high to find bad shore dump so carried 96l/6m to Golf end to launch which was OK.Oater 1;30. Sea was quite a big mess but best near Golf so stayed there. Some biggish rollers which diminished as tide dropped, though didn't last long as chop destroyed most things.
Smoothed out a bit near Golf then smooth rollers moved towards Dip as river current moved on dropping tide. Good fun riding down some faces. 6m was a bit under at times but sea so messy did not want to go faster. A few others joined me and at mid tide Dip was OK for launching and best spot as Golf was choppy.
Felt cold to start so vest under 4/3 suit but got hot and met Peter, Sally & MArk coming to see how I was getting on at Golf as I returned vest to trailer and for a drink as so hot. Fairly flat as I packed up about 5, probably had 3 hours on the water and felt very tired at the end.Thankfully only one rig :-).
Those on slower and forgiving wave kit had best fun, though Pete was blasting around 5:30 on flatter water.
